Rating: 5/5 Stars: Warming & Important Read- A heart-warming story of a boy and his Papa, who is suffering from memory loss, spending an afternoon together. The way the boy addresses his Papa's condition is both sweet and subtle. This book brought me right back to my relationship with my Grandfather during his struggle with Alzheimer's and how we both made the most out of every visit together- until we couldn't anymore. A wonderful book and a true must read for parents and children!

Rating: 5/5 stars This is a lovely book that will help children understand Alzheimers and dementia in a way that is easy to understand. As it takes the reader on a days journey as a grandchild spends time with their grandparent it shows how to be present with a loved one. The illustrations are gentle in color and form, which helps to enhance the visual experience along with the comforting words.

Rating: 5/5 Stars: This is a wonderful and thoughtful story for children and parents to learn and talk about the process of aging grandparents who struggle with memory loss. This book highlights patience and understanding in a way children can relate. This book comes at a time that our own children and ourselves are experiencing this in our family - the timing of this book's release couldn't have come at a better time. It's a must-have for a family library!
